Marcel

As a pokerplayer Marcel Luske has had a remarkable career with tournament cashes all over the world. He turned pro ten years ago and within two years became the #1 ranked player in Europe.

Having just returned from PokerStars EPT 10 London, I’m enjoying a few days at home before I hit the road again for another international tournament, in yet another location that I’m looking forward to visiting.

I’m excited to announce that my next poker destination will be Tangier, Morocco. Prosper Masquellier has invited me to attend the ISPT Silver – Tanger Millionaire Maker event, October 29th through November 3rd. I have accepted this very generous offer from the owner of the Partouche group of casinos, in my capacity as the CEO of FIDPA and of Global Poker Support International.

While I will be playing the Tanger Millionaire Maker Main Event under the PokerStars banner, I will also be on site for another very important reason – that of discussing the Partouche Group operating all of their poker events and tournaments using FIDPA’s International Poker Rules (“IP Rules”).

The French Casino company, Partouche, is looking to improve their industry reputation, and has expressed their commitment to a more trusted poker environment for their players. The proposed strategic partnership with FIDPA will be a great leap forward, towards a fairer and more consistent playing experience for those that patronize their many casino locations dotted throughout France, and several other European locations.

I am encouraged by Prosper’s willingness to recognize that Partouche needs to actively rebuild its credibility amongst the poker playing community, and I welcome this opportunity, on behalf of FIDPA, to work together in the best interests of all players.

I look forward to providing you with an update on my business in Tangier, and on the outcome of my meeting with Prosper, in the early part of next month.
