Marcel

As a pokerplayer Marcel Luske has had a remarkable career with tournament cashes all over the world. He turned pro ten years ago and within two years became the #1 ranked player in Europe.

Such a beautifull place to be, why not run good as well. ;)

Do I speak French.? Well… Du Mayonaise. la trottoir, n’y a pas de belle oiseau sur le toit.( I practised my body language a lot, in case it all got lost in translation), but I was mostly OK, with the support of the international staff that was clearly brought into place by, none other than Pokerstars. ;)

To be honest, it was a great trip after all, especially if you can appreciate the place you are at !

So, next time I travel, I will compare and find the gift that is given to us, and appreciate our good fortune as players to have all of this within our reach.

The EPT series and finals  didn’t exactly go how I wanted, but on a scale of 1 to 10, I’m satisfied about being there, the food, the weather, the event, the service, the players, the social side of this variety of games and events every day. How dare we complain about the bad beats in the game..when we are part of such event(s) like this?

And who is making this possible for us ?

That is the moment we should stop and keep our feet on the ground..and start considering the world we live in and how special that is.

Besides the hotel room and facilities of the beach, pool , gym, breakfast areas and the many other opportunities to enjoy, yes, it really was a good trip for me, despite only winning a mini cash or having Phil Ivey point out to me that a pigeon was eating my easy over ham and eggs.. But that doesn’t stop me from feeling great and enjoying every moment of it.( I did order a new dish, yes, lol).

So, a special thanks to the staff, and the behind-the-scenes team at Pokerstars, who are office-bound, for months prior preparing this event for all of us, who get to sit outside in the sun during these days and weeks. ;)

And what’s next…you can play or follow me on the SCOOP series that started on May 12th and runs untill the 26th, with millions of guarantees to win. Play small and win big is my advice.. Just scoop it,

or scoop the next one.  There’s always a winner and a way to win it for all of us in so many ways. If that’s not enough, let’s look ahead to the 10th series of the EPT that is coming up straight after the WSOP events..

I have found more support for FIDPA and the I P Rules, and I made a big (HUGE ) step forward to get the poker world united, with the best for all players and  the industry.

Once it was impossible, but now it’s only a bottle of shaving cream away.

Some places in the world, poker event organizers already address the fact that the players are the most important. As you can see for yourself at http://www.pokerstars.eu/ , they do this at all times.

Let’s hope many will follow to do so as well, and support this…and may the WSOP follow their lead, as we are the players… please don’t forget that! ;)

See you all at the World Series, but play the SCOOP first!

GL, and we will meet again. ;)
