Marcel 'The Flying Dutchman' Luske


As a pokerplayer Marcel Luske has had a remarkable career with tournament cashes all over the world.

He turned pro ten years ago and within two years became the #1 ranked player in Europe. He was named poker Player of the Year in both 2002, and 2004 and the same year attained worldwide fame by finishing tenth in the WSOP Main Event and second in the $5k Seven Card Stud Event. His success continued throughout 2005 and 2006 as he earned coveted championship bracelets at the Bellagio’s Five Star World Poker Classic.

In 2007, Marcel became involved in the founding of The Federation International de Poker Association (FIDPA) and has worked tirelessly for the organisation ever since.

In 2008, he made two WSOP final tables in Omaha Hi-Lo events. The same year, he received a "Life Time Achievement Award" at the European Poker Awards at the Aviation Club in Paris. He joined Team PokerStars Pro last summer.

In his attempt to transform poker into a globally accepted mind game, he has created The International Poker Rules which are currently being used in hundreds of casino's worldwide including The Bellagio. Marcel Has big ambitions that often lead him exceed being more than just a pokerplayer.

Besides trying to increase important standards within the current poker community, he is also bringing out a new poker concept called TOCK POKER, that should help any beginning pokerplayers willing to learn the fascinating game of poker.
